Mobility - This is How I Roll

Hi there! I'm just chomping at the bit to tell you a little bit about my fun time with Mommy last Saturday. We did some play. It was good play. Wanna hear a story, ready listen, here it go. I awoke in a rather festive mood. Mom thought we should practice some of the moves I work on in school. I'm rather proficient at sitting, but Mom foolishly thinks she wants me to work on crawling. I was pretty agreeable to the idea.

Ok, so I rolled over to get my daily routine started.

Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And I couldn't agree more. I indulged in my usual breakfast of milky and decided to add a little more protein for extra energy.

Then I threw in a little fruit for a well-balanced meal.

Next, stretches. I'm limbering up (and making up new words) by doing a little toe touching.

Then I thought that a little weight lifting should be in order. I studied the different weights to pick just the right one...

I chose the lightest weight but I did more reps so that would get long and lean and not add extra bulk. I did about eleventy-hundred reps in about 30 seconds.

Onto the balance ball. What is this balance thing you speak of?

Finally, on to the real deal. C R A W L I N G. Heave ho, come on self, you can do it, almost there, so close...

Ohhhhhhhhh
. A swing and a miss. We almost had it. Guess I wore myself out warming up.

But I have places to go, time to get moving the way I know how. This is how I roll.

Quick, convenient and no harm done... usually. Oh well Mom, there's always tomorrow.

Here are a couple of extra pics that are not part of the story. Finn got some new wall decorations. We actually dropped the crib and the play pen down this past weekend. The boy is growing like a weed. He's sitting in the crib at the highest setting before we dropped it here.

And this one cracks me up. I'm used to dodging the wandering hands from grabbing my hair and glasses (and I keep Finn away too -ha), but Daddy wasn't so lucky.

Debating about posting a new entry about why I'm the World's Worst Mom. If there aren't pictures, there will at least be a story soon.
