Here's a look at the backyard on Monday morning.

Another photo of the deck, dreaming of warmer days.

Watching Ellie frolic about while doing her business was quite entertaining.

She's literally hip deep.

Now she's enjoying the tasty flakes right off of her nose.

Here's a shot of the cul-de-sac on Sunday afternoon when it the snow was falling the hardest.

Let me tell you a little something about the neighbor girls. They are really great except that they sell all kinds of scrumptious treats for some fundraiser or another and I feel compelled to buy things which means I also feel compelled to eat the treats once they are delivered. They love Ellie-Dogg and the feeling is mutual. Ellie rolls right over and gives up the belly anytime she's around them - even in the snow.

No posting could be complete without a Finn pic. Let me tell you. It's a good thing he is so dang cute and was all grins. I was NOT all grins during the events that led up to this tub shot. School was closed for Finny so we set out to enjoy our day together. We started off with a bang. A bang of projectile vomit, that is. Wow, I now understand the difference between throwing up and spit-up and I will never complain about spit-up again. I changed clothes and yibbered about at the grossness of everything but Finn seemed fine.
So later he's playing in his Command Center and I notice some lovely aromatics emanating from his backside. Upon closer inspection, I was faced with the Mother Load of poops. UP TO THE NECK POOP. You know, one of those where you don't even know where to start. So I minimized the damage as best I could and set him naked in his crib while I went to run water in the tub since there was no way around giving him a bath. I plopped him in the tub at which time he proceeded to whiz away happily while clutching his duck. So I unplugged the tub stopper and we started over again. But he was happy as a clam for the duration of his bath, which is surprising since he was probably starving to death and dehydrated after all the fluid loss. We had a pretty good day except he's pretty sick again with lots of boogers and a clogged tear duct. Between his cute smiles and his subsequent patheticness, all if forgiven from this morning's escapades.

I'm laughing out loud. Sounds like a Levi move.
