The piglet pictures are getting harder and harder to capture. I had to disguise the pig as an unsuspecting block to get him near the child. I realized that I forgot to elaborate on why I'm the World's Worst Mom. Well, this picture reminded me. Guess who gets to spend morning in their crib while Mommy gets dressed now? And guess why? Could it be because someone took a header off the bed and onto the floor startling themselves and just about sending their Mommy to an early grave? Oh yes, it could be. He was fine, save a rug burned nose, but I am still recovering. You can see he looks none the worse for wear.

This is what happens to poor Piglet most of the time, he becomes weaponized. I actually let Piglet sleep in the crib with Finny, but he doesn't have much to do with him unless I'm trying to take a picture of them together.

Over Easter weekend, Finn's high chair arrived. No more leisurely meals reclining in the bouncy or sitting in the Bumbo seat on the table. He loves it, we love it, and the timing could not have been more perfect. This will seat up to 250 lbs and is adjustable so Finn can use it even after he grows out of needing a high chair. Note the Wolfpack red.

Oh yeah, this is rocking his world.
Admiring the fine craftsmanship...

We started feeding Finny some finger foods. He was very agreeable to trying them, he just wasn't coordinated right off. Already this week though, he is eating them like a champ.

He does this with his blocks and bath toys too - he wants ALL of them in his hands at one time. Usually they stick to his palm.

And this is the day that all the 4-legged family has been waiting for. Food on the floor. Sister Ellie was feeling a little under the weather and missed it, but she has since more than made up for it.

Here is Puff to mouth - mostly.

He's not sure what he thinks about these. I think they're pretty good myself. Kind of like a less sweet and more dissolvy and non-marshmallow-y Lucky Charm. At least the Sweet Potato variety anyway.

All in all, he's a great eater. He only refuses peas. He likes peaches a lot and LOVES Earth's Best Turkey and Vegetables.
We went on a hike off of the Blue Ridge Parkway about 30 miles from the house with Unky Mikey. Unky Mikey showed us a couple of good hiking/camping spots and took us to a great natural foods store in Floyd which is just over Bent Mountain from our house.

We also enjoyed lunch at Wildflour Cafe and Finn gnawed on coffee creamers but never did break one open. Again notice that both hands are full. John and I feel the same way.
This weekend Finn and I are headed to the Big Acorn for fun, fun, fun and Daddy and Sister are going hiking with Pa-Paw and one of his many new additions. Hope y'all have a great weekend.

YAY for the finger foods! Looks like Puffs were great for him. Another thing to try that I just tried with Levi and he loves...Beech Nut Let's Grow rice cakes (Levi likes the veggie flavor). I say YUCK but he says YUM and they dissolve easy, too. Good luck with the sippy cup--I would be so motivated to be a big boy eater if I was Finn in that awesome highchair!
Oh and the nosedive...yes, Levi is a daredevil, too. His new favorite place while I get dressed is our closet. Loves taking my nice shoes out of the their boxes! I wish he and Levi lived close...they would have so much fun!
