Things have been busy around the Ress house, too much work, work, work, for both of us. I guess the universe is preparing us for some crazy times and sleepless nights. Nothing like having a baby to get a "break from work". Plus, I've gotten used to including pictures with a posting and I don't have any new shots just yet. We're in the home stretch (pun intended) and I thought I would share some survival tips and answer some common questions I've been asked recently.
1. No, we're not having twins. Probably. Thank you for the multiple inquires from both sides of the family. Definitely not giving me a complex or strange dreams...
2. Therefore, the next logical conclusion is... no, I'm not eating for 3.
3. And because I am already freaked about about the twins questions, it is NOT nice to "hex me with triplets" just because I beat you at cards. And no, I'm not eating for 4.
4. If we DO have twins, etc., then we will want to keep both/all of them. Probably. Thanks for the offer to take one off our hands, though.
5. I'm fairly tolerant of the comments about my round form, but it's NOT a good idea to call me a brontosaurus, no matter how logical your reasoning is... especially if you want your child to have a sibling one day. No Probably about this one.
6. Yes, I have cankles, actually I did have cankles, but I'm past that now and there is definite differentiation between calves and ankles, just not in the good way.
7. Yes, I plan on having drugs. The sooner, the better. People spent a lot of time going to school and learning how to administer these. Who am I to deny someone a chance to use their education?
I think that covers all the major topics. John and Ellie are both doing some "nesting" which either means that the Mongoose is on the way, or we're going to have a hurricane. Hope to post some new pics soon.
