The Harvest Festival - Downtown Roanoke

Grammy and Grandpa Rick came for a long weekend and the weather could not have been more perfect so we decided to go downtown to see what the Harvest Festival was all about. I'm wearing my best Harvest Festival shirt for the occasion. Bet you didn't know I had a Harvest Festival shirt, did ya?

Some local color...

Some of the Festivities - large scale community coloring, very cool

Elaborate face painting

Pink tractor, such a lovely shade

A tractor motor that was running this doggy toy

I don't think my Harvest Festival shirt can hold a candle this this outfit.

John's dream bucket

My cute guys in blue. I mean, my super manly stud muffin dudes.

The Bees were there! (Not The Beez)

I couldn't find the queen, but I didn't look very long

Even Santa and Mrs. Claus enjoy a good Harvest Festival. Takes the pressure off.

These gentlemen were playing a bluegrass version of The Flintstones theme song. We were diggin' it.

This car is not exclusive to the Harvest Festival, this belongs to one of the usual Farmer's Market vendors. The whole car is doo-dadded.

And finally, our budding artist, taking a load off at Awful Arthur's and waiting for his Mac-n-Cheese. He thought he'd snack on that crayon in the meantime.
