Santa Baby!

I thought it was high time to make a ding-dang Christmas card. 'Cause I have too much time on my hands. Uh-huh. Anyway, I decided I would be the world's worst mom if I missed this golden opportunity to dress the boy in yet another ridiculous outfit. Well we can't be having that. I came across this Santa bunting while searching for Halloween costumes. Aha! More baby torture. Obviously. Mad Cocoon Santa agrees. I know it looks like a hack Photoshop job, but this is an unedited photo. Poor critter. Here are a few gems from the Christmas photo shoot. Sounds all professional. I assure you, it was not. Heh heh.


I only tortured him for one photo session with the costumes (as opposed to torturing him repeatedly in his regular old clothes) and we took Halloween and Christmas photos in one day so this is actually back in October. He's quite a bit older and wiser now. He does seem to smell a rat though.

This is the runner-up. In hindsight, it's actually better than the photo we went with on the cards, but this one deserved a clever caption and I had nothing left to give. Nothing I tell you. The mongoose looks dubious. You decide which one I mean.

And here is the winner, I cheesed out and went with the happy, smiley shot. Email me if you want to get on the Christmas card list and were overlooked this year for some reason. (Most likely because we have a BABY and all, nothing personal.)
