Playing with My Boy
I'm really happy that I got to spend some quality time with my boy on his day off. He'll be going to school for full weeks coming up here soon. And I'm especially glad I'm not writing this from jail, here's to taking a chance... thanks Carrie! We had some playtime in his crib since I'm too old and decrepit to get on the floor with him. Here are a few shots from our day. Oh! And I will be really vague in case I'm not supposed to say too much just yet, but I think there is some exciting family news to report soon. (No Mom and Dad, I am NOT pregnant again). I'll elaborate more soon, I promise. Oh, and Levi, we really must coordinate our outfits before we go on any outings together. Has anybody seen my bukit?
I love this one. Not much to say here except, "The Clawwwwwwwwwww!"
This is my tribute to the most artfully composed photo... in the frame with a simple digital camera with no flash or lighting, oh yeah - and with a subject that does NOT take direction well... as you can get under said circumstances. Mr. Banana is being thrown about with no mercy and I like that smirky thing on the boy's face.
Look, Finn enjoying his fruit like a good boy. Nom Nom Nom.
This is one of my favorite of Finn's expressions. He curls his bottom lip under in concentration. Also note the size of his feet in relation to my hand. H-U-G-E. Here he is trying to escape my attempts to hog tie him. Once I succeed in capturing him he knows it's into the marinade, pop the apple in the mouth and we're off to the spit for roasting.

And last, this day was a family affair, Sister leans in for a smooch. And boy is sitting up very well in the Bumbo seat.

Hey, I'm always happy to not send anyone to jail - no prob, Bob. :) (Does Finn know that from Bob the Builder yet?) Speaking of Finn, he does have big feet!! Wow!! Glad you could have a good day with him...
Ok. just so you can prepare to buy another matching thing for Finn...Levi got the Britax Roundabout carseat in Twill (I think). You know he wants to be matchy matchy with his VA friend ;O)...Merry Christmas!
