Who Doesn't Love a Rorschach Test?

Here's one of the most amazing images we've seen of our little one. It's super cool and kind of creepy. Though a good friend recently pointed out that anything creepy is inherantly cool. This is a 4-D image, but what does 4-D mean? Let us know if you can shed some light on that. 4-D imaging is usually done later in pregnancy and I think that the babies look like mummies at that stage. Our ultrasound technician was very kind and on her game so she gave us an early snapshot. Some of you nurses out there seemed a bit baffled, while the laymen saw the figure right away. Next ultrasound will be at 20 weeks when some of us can find out if this is a girl mongoose, or a boy mongoose.

Just to clarify - 3D means length, height, and depth and 4D adds movement. I think the mongoose is adorable!
