Gets funnier every time I tell it. heh heh.

What about my outfit, eh?!? Real men CAN wear salmon. And be preppy. And own designer labels at 6 weeks.

Mom put the kibosh down on pictures last week. I had blocked tear ducts and looked awful (and wasn't too happy about it either) but Mom got me some ointment and I'm all better even though she thought she was blinding me worse by poking at my eyes. We went to see Dr. Bowtie for my 6 week well baby visit. I was a pretty good boy, or Mom has gotten more used to taking me out - probably both. I now weigh 10 lbs 2oz and I'm 22 3/4 or 23 3/4 long, Mom can't remember. I got a shot which I didn't love, but I didn't go all nuts like Mom thought I might.
For those of you that have not had the pleasure of meeting me yet, you may be interested to learn more about me, other than that I am ridiculously handsome. Basically I am a good baby. Mom and Dad don't have a ton (or any) experience with babies so I can seem like a demon sometimes, but even they have to admit that: A) It could be worse and B) Things are always improving.
I simply must eat every 2-3 hours, mostly closer to the 2 hour mark. They call me a "Happy Spitter" which means I spit up a lot but I am gaining weight appropriately and not being too bothered by this. Mom and Dad are usually covered and I've even spit up on Ellie. Consequently, my digestive system works just fine so you could call me a "Happy Sh..." too. Mom and Dad try to get me to suck on a pacifier between feedings to give Mom a rest, but I don't really like it. Ellie likes them much more than I do.
I've gone from waking up every hour at night to giving Mom and Dad 2 hour stretches of sleep. Sometimes I will sleep for 3 hours every so often and a precious few times I have slept for 4 hour intervals. This makes a world of difference in everyone's mood. I laugh and smile and say "Ohhh" really loud. This makes up for the lack of sleep thing. I tolerate car rides most of the time, though it has yet to be the magic formula for making me fall asleep instantly. Sometimes I don't want to go to sleep even though I am really tired and I get all cranky and fight it. My Mom and Dad both did this growing up so it's only fair. It's harder to put me down in my crib during the day, I'd rather sleep in Mom's lap. She usually lets me but sometimes she has to nap too, or eat, or shower, or play on the computer, or call Dad and tell him how cute I am.
That's just a little bit about myself. I hope you all can meet me soon.

Yay for the explorer outfit!
Looks like Finn is doing great...and sounds a lot like Levi with the eating, sleeping, etc. Fun stuff! Luckily we're on the 11 hrs of sleep at night now and that is HEAVEN but naps are all of 30 minutes.
